This is an article co-written by my co-founder, Yvette and I, on why it's important for startups to speak the language of numbers when seeking investments. We find that early-stage founders often struggle to align their pitches with these projections. To address this, we propose a 'Head, Heart, Hand' approach. Head - Understand what investors want in the numbers Heart -Accepting that it's ok to be wrong Hand - Investors and accelerators' role in educating and influencing the founders.
